On September 16, at 5:35 p.m., officers from Operations Division Midtown responded to a report of a fight at a residence in the 200 block of South Norris Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers located a 55-year-old male with serious injuries as a result of a physical altercation. He was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. The suspects involved fled the scene prior to police arrival. Officers determined that the victim and the male suspect in this incident were related.

Detectives from the Domestic Violence Unit responded to continue the investigation. They determined that the two suspects involved in this incident were living at the victim’s residence. The two suspects became involved in a physical altercation with the victim. The suspects fled the scene after the incident. At this time, detectives are not releasing further details into the incident.

On September 21, 2013, the victim in this incident succumbed to his injuries. His name is being withheld pending next of kin notification. A warrant now exists for 33-year old Wiley Michael Troy for 1 count of 1st Degree Murder. A warrant also exists for 24-year old Charlie Haney for 1 count of Aggravated Assault. The Tucson Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact 911 or 88-CRIME.
