More than 46 million adults in the United States have arthritis.

People can learn how arthritis may impact their lifestyles — and get questions answered — at "On Your Knees with Pain? Treatment Options for Knee Arthritis," the Oct. 14 free Living Well lecture at Oro Valley Hospital.

Orthopedic surgeon Kimberly Tucker, M.D., is discussing joint-friendly activities, medication options, knee injections that may help osteoarthritis patients, and partial and total knee replacement options

Living Well lectures, which provide information on living with and managing chronic diseases, are presented by Northwest Healthcare's Senior Circle program. They are held at Oro Valley Hospital, 1551 E. Tangerine Rd., from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month through November 2009, and from January to May 2010.
