"Splendor of Christmas," 10 free performances by the Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene Celebration Choir and Drama Ministries, makes its annual run Dec. 11-20.

For the third straight year, offerings collected at each performance benefit the programs at Interfaith Community Services.

Performances at the church at 500 W. Calle Concordia are at:

• 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11;

• 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12;

• 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13;

• 6:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18;

• 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19;

• and 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 20.

Last year, with a cast and choir of more than 150, the Christmas show attracted more than 6,000 people during its six performances. Audience members contributed more than $14,000 to ICS.

ICS, founded in 1985, helps seniors, the disabled and the disadvantaged achieve stable and independent lives through support from volunteers, faith communities and the community at large, a release said. The Oro Valley Church of the Nazarene is one of ICS's 50 member faith communities.
