The Fine Arts and Crafts Guild at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church will hold its annual Masterpiece Festival all day Oct. 4.

The church is looking to fill the remaining two-thirds of its 100-plus vending spaces, which range from $20 to $30 depending on size and location.

Items for sale in the past have included paintings, mosaics, textiles and homemade chocolate. Items must be handmade by the exhibitor.

The deadline for reserving a booth is Friday, Sept. 19, unless the spaces fill up sooner.

Last year, the guild turned exhibitors away because spaces filled up early.

The funds raised through the space fees go toward art classes for the church congregation and the community.

Food and beverage vendors will be onsite to feed the 400 to 500 shoppers who are expected to make their way to the festival throughout the day.

“I think it’s going to be a great day with all kinds of creative artists,” said Lois Britton, a member of the guild. “There will be a lot of opportunities to enjoy the art, meet people, and maybe do some early Christmas shopping.”
