Get flu shots, for workers as well, CEOs say
Greater Tucson hospital chief executive officers are urging people to get their flu shots, and employers to make sure their employees are vaccinated.
While there is alarm about the H1NI virus, there were more deaths last year from seasonal flu last year than from H1NI, they agreed at a Biz Tucson forum last week.
Each hospital is "putting together contingency plans for the flu," said Judy Rich, president and CDO of Tucson Medical Center. "The big problem is what to do about people when they are sick. Stay home."
