Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has reappointed Oro Valley Councilwoman Mary Snider to the Arizona Automobile Theft Authority (AATA). Snider, who was originally appointed four years ago by form Gov. Janet Napolitano, is one of two public members on the AATA Board of Directors. There are 12 members total.

Oro Valley Police Chief Daniel Sharp, who has been a member of the AATA Board for 12 years, is currently serving as Vice Chair.

The mission of the AATA is to deter vehicle theft in Arizona through a cooperative effort by supporting law enforcement activities, vertical prosecution, and public education programs.
