Staples celebrated the opening of its first store in Marana last
week, hosting a ribbon-shredding ceremony that included a $1,500
donation to Make Way for Books.
Staples general manager Joe Fernandez joined by Marana Mayor Ed
Honea, representatives from Make Way for Books and the Marana
Chamber of Commerce at the new store, located at 3840 W. River
The donation from the Staples Foundation will support Make Way
for Books’ early literacy initiatives dedicated to providing young
children from birth to age five in limited resource areas of Tucson
with the necessary reading skills to be successful prior to
