Oro Valley business expo to showcase local vendors, restaurants
The Oro Valley Business Club plans to showcase about 150 local vendors to more than 5,000 people at its inaugural Oro Valley Business Fair and Expo Oct. 29 at the Steam Pump Village, 11000 N. Oracle Road.
Event organizer Hank Jepsen is now accepting registrations from area businesses as well as restaurants to participate in the A Taste of Oro Valley that is part of the expo.
Jepsen hopes participation in these events will exceed that of a business expo conducted in 2007.
Held at the Oro Valley Public Library, that event showcased 50 businesses and attracted about 2,700 people.
The cost of a 10-foot by 10-foot exhibit booth is $200 for OVBC members and $300 for non-members. The price includes a 3-1/2-inch by 3-inch advertisement in the event program.
Participating restaurants will receive a 10-foot by 30-foot exhibit space, which includes a 15-foot by 10-foot tent or framed canopy and two 6-foot tables.
The cost for a booth is $250 for OVBC members and $300 for non-members.
Electricity is available at each booth for an additional $25.
