From May 28 through Aug. 29, those who brave the Tucson summer heat will be rewarded with Epazote Kitchen & Cocktails’ delectable three-course dinner for two featuring locally-sourced ingredients for $39 per couple.
The special summer pre-fixe menu features an appetizer and decadent dessert to share, plus an entrée for each guest from a special summer menu. Featured appetizers include Nimbus Beer-batter zucchini fries with chipotle ranch or flaked red trout tostadas with Willcox pico de gallo and lime crema. The entrée selection includes roasted pork tenderloin with coconut jasmine rice and tequila spiked mushroom, chili dusted salmon served with fingerling potatoes, warm arugula and avocado mousse or a big bison burger with red onion jam, bacon and asadero cheese accompanied by chili spiced fries. For dessert, guests can share strawberry tres leches with whipped cream and caramel or a blueberry panna cotta with cinnamon tortilla.
