This week has been a bit slow for me, as I have been taking care of my mother in Florida. Being out-of-town without my personal trainer makes it much harder to stay focused.
The experience has shown me the value of a personal trainer to keep you on track. If you have a fitness goal that you want to achieve, then get a personal trainer! Here in Tallahassee Florida, I have been doing some running with my brother-in-law and my nephew, which has been a great help in maintaining my fitness program.
My weight is hovering around 200 pounds, and I need to make a push to break through to a weight under 200. Last year at this time, I weighed 220, so overall I feel great with my progress.
My goal is to reach 170 pounds by the end of the year, which should be achievable with a daily workout and a diet of primarily vegetables, fruits, fish and poultry.
