The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International Arizona State organization presented the Omicron State Media Award to Tamara Crawley, public relations director for the Marana Unified School District.

Crawley was recognized at an awards luncheon on Saturday, April 20 in conjunction with the Delta Kappa Omicron 77th annual state convention. The luncheon was held at the Radisson Suites, 6555 E. Speedway.

The Omicron State Media Award is given to an Arizona program/person that utilizes the media to support education and promote programs that enhance a child’s life outside of school in Arizona.

Tamara Crawley joined the Marana Unified School District in 2004. She serves as the Director of Public Relations.

Delta Kappa Gamma is an international organization of women educators whose purpose is to promote the professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
