On March 9 at approximately 11:30 p.m., deputies from the Foothills District responded to a man down call in the 1000 blk. of West Roger Road and North Palm Grove Road.

Upon arrival, they found a deceased male lying in the roadway. The man appeared to have been struck by a vehicle and possibly dragged.

The victim is a 57 year-old Hispanic male. His name is not being released at this time pending next of kin notification.

Traffic Unit investigators are seeking the public’s assistance. They are asking anyone who may have been in the area of West Roger Road and North Palm Grove Road and seen anything suspicious call 911 or 88-CRIME (882-7463). The suspect vehicle is likely to have front end
