GOVAC to hold fashion show March 28

The Greater Oro Valley Arts Council will present Passion for Fashion, a charity fashion show for all ages, on Saturday, March 28, at Reflections at the Buttes, 9800 N. Oracle Road.

The program will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a social, cocktails and activities for the entire family, including a silent auction and raffle loaded with more than $70,000 in art, fashion, jewelry and travel packages.

At 11 a.m., brunch will be served, and at 11:30, the fashion show and auction will begin.

The fashion show will feature items from local boutiques and retailers from Casas Adobes Plaza, La Encantada and other malls and stores. They will be modeled by local personalities including Dan Marries, Erin Jordan and Theresa Jun from KOLD, Joan Lee and Alan Michaels from KOOL FM and Shannon Black from KIIM FM, as well as community leaders, including Mayor Paul Loomis of Oro Valley, Jay Zucker from the Toros and Ashley Reichstein, Ms. Southeast Arizona. 

This event will demonstrate how to find fashions for the whole family while supporting local businesses.

Tickets are $40 for adults and $15 for children under 12, with a portion of each ticket being tax deductible. All money raised will go directly to supporting arts in local schools and the community.
