The Wheeler Taft Abbett Sr. Library has a number of ways to get help with computing, reading and homework. Here is their fall schedule of programs and what you might want to know to participate.
Drop-in Computer Help (and Downloads)
Tuesdays & Thursdays 2:00-3:00 pm, Sundays 1:00-2:30 pm
Get help with everything from filling out a job application online or uploading a resume, putting the final touches to a school report or presentation, exploring one of our online resources for test preparation, even learning how to download eBooks, audiobooks, magazines or free songs. No need for an appointment.
One-on-One Help (Computer Basics, Digital Downloads, Job Search)
Saturdays 12:00-3:00 pm
Individualized one-hour sessions. Receive basic computer tutoring in areas like basic computer/internet/email use, iPad & eReaders, digital downloads, job help, Microsoft Office, library catalog and other online resources.

ReadStrong: Level Up Your Reading @ Your Library
Sundays 3:00-4:30 pm (New students by appointment only)
All ages are welcome to attend these free sessions where the focus is on improving reading skills and reading for fun. Each session will be facilitated by a specially-trained tutor who will help developing readers to build confidence and get motivated all while in a relaxed setting. For an appointment, call 594-9200
Tuesdays & Thursdays 3:00-6:00 pm
Free tutoring is available on site for all ages. Subjects include math, science, social studies and writing.
